Roll call is the center of what we do at KillTheCan.org and is the reason for our continued success. Roll call is your daily promise that you will not use nicotine in any form for that day. This includes dip, chew, snuff, SNUS, cigarettes, cigars, e-cigs or NRT (nicotine replacement therapy). Please use this blog post to post your daily promise.

Day 8 mouth face and throat sore cravings are real bad but I’m not caving in even gave wife bank card so I don’t make a stop at store without thinking
Good Job Kieth. Do what ever it takes to get through. You already made it one full week. Things will start to get easier.
Still here day 74. I think this roll call is a positive thing for me.
Day 8, It’s getting easier and I’m starting to crave less. My sleep is still jacked up and my mind is still trying hard to get a dip in me but it’s getting easier to say no. This site is amazing. Longest I’ve been without dip since basic training in 2009. All I need to do this time is not pick it up again.
You said it Isaac. This site has helped me tremendously too, I’m on day 7. Let’s keep it rolling.
Has anyone heard from ERIK B? Hope all is going well.
I have my dental appointment today.
good luck Ken, how deep into your quit are you?
62 days nic free. Around 70 days without taking a dip. I’ve had cancer scans and routine exams 2xs a year. Hopefully things will just look better than normal. It’s odd that I would normally have the appt first thing in the morning so I could get it out of my way and get a dip in before work.
I dipped Skoal straight longcut for 20 yrs.I’m on day 7 today. was really foggy for the first 3-4 days. after that it is just cravings and a really hard time sleeping. I bought some SMC wintergreen and it seems to do the trick. I need to sleep though, im hoping that part of goes away soon.
Hey Jim keep fighting your doing great. I started getting better sleep
After day 10.
Great job Jim! Keep up the hard a$$ work! It does get better. Mix up your routines, drink water, and exercise. This has helped me.
Day 1… Had my last chew last night before bed. This is after 20 years of at least 1 can of Kodiak per day.
Good for you Josh! Take it one day at a time. Keep fighting, it gets better. Remember, you had to build up a tolerance for the crap in the beginning and now you have to get it out of your system. Stay strong.
Right with Josh I was a can and half of Kodiak a day, If I can do it you can. First four days are the hardest.
Thanks, Ken and Erik! Day 3 and holding strong!
day 12…quit with you boys today!
Day 35. Good luck everyone!
Day 40…No Nic today.
Day 12, Life is getting better one day at a time.
Day 41. Besides my wife, my rock, this site keeps me going. For self family and friends
NIC FREE IN 15.
Day 62:: Proud to quit with all of you today! Stay strong everyone.
Day 47, Each day I get more confident in my resolve and my quit. I don’t know if the cravings or thoughts of chew will ever go away, I do know that I can handle anything that is thrown my way. I know there will still be tough days ahead, I will not lose.
