  3. Day 2 nearly through. White knuckling through the craves. Glad to find this site/group- the stories are very helpful.

  4. Day 2 of a long journey to quit chewing. Been using 20 yrs- started freshmen year off High school Baseball. Have 4 children under 10… Want to live to see there children! Rough day.

JDALEY25- Day 55- happy new year

    • Not quite sure I follow Justin – you’re getting a virus alert? When you try to visit the forums? If you can give me some additional info I’m happy to do some research for you.

  6. Day 9… watching my Buckeye’s play last night without my can was hard, but I did it! I almost paused the game and went to the store to buy a can, but I stayed strong! After 30 years of dipping… and multiple failed attempts to quit… something is different this time where I know I’m going quit for good!

  7. Day 37. What a way to start out new year. , Out for lunch with my wife, an OSU win, and another tobacco free day. The only way it could get better is to hear Mark May admit to overvalueing the SEC and undervalueing the BIG 10, oh well got be happy with what we have.

  8. Wow…Day 30. Glad to be tobacco free. Congrats to everybody starting out on this journey. It does get easier.

  9. Hey Quitters. Glad to be in your company. Day 3 of my quit. Doing things differently this go around. Tried quitting with numerous failed attempts in past. Been using NRT gum in lue. I know, I know. I’m not completely independent yet, but 3 pcs of gum compared to 1x can daily for 10+ years is a drastic shift for me. I’ve even went as far to join support groups. And have fallen in love with this website and its members. Every article is a great contribution and I relate to most.

I never thought 10 years ago, I’d be the addict I am today. Always said I would quit when I began my career. I’d always quit when I become married. I’d always quit when I have my first born.

Well, I’ve been in my career for 5 years now. Been married for over a year. My child if 6 months old. All of things came and passed and dip was still in my life.

I feel like I’m having to create new habits, it’s strange. Not lying to my wife about needing to go to gas station. Not taking extra long bathroom visits. Not having to buy pouches of Suns because of long meetings. Not having to carry extra bottles with me. Not having to panick about long road trips.

I can’t wait for the new changes to take hold. I’ve been ready to quit now for a long time and for a first, I have the tools and resources to do so.

  10. Day 25. Great games yesterday. Fell asleep in the second half of Alabama though. Was happy to see the SEC have another loss. Tired of them. Lol

  11. Day 52: stay strong everyone!

  12. Day 2 – Glad to be here on this new journey.

  13. Day 31. Everyday without is a win and we all like winning. For self family and friends. NIC FREE IN 15.

  14. Day 28 . Happy to be nicotine free. Hope everyone has a good day.
