Has quitting dip been impossible for you in the past? Do you feel like you have no control over your addiction? Are you looking to quit dipping after a lifetime of struggling with multiple starts and stops? Do you feel powerless over the can of Kodiak, Copenhagen or Skoal in your back pocket?
KillTheCan.org is here to help you succeed where you’ve failed in the past. We know from personal experience that it won’t be easy. We are quitters. We will never lie to you and tell you it’s an easy thing to do. We know how hard it can be to quite because we are addicts. We have been right where you are. We used these products. We used Kodiak, Skoal, Copenhagen and Redman for years – sometimes decades. We understand that the idea of quitting dip is similar to never seeing your best friend again. We get it.
Now for the good news. There IS light at the end of the tunnel. Quitting smokeless tobacco IS possible. Your decision to take back your freedom from spit tobacco is one of the best you will ever make. And it WILL be worth it in the end.
At KillTheCan.org we do something called “posting roll”. Roll call is nothing more than our DAILY promise that we will not use nicotine in any form for that day. Just one day. This includes all forms of smokeless tobacco, dip, chew, SNUS, cigarettes, cigars, e-cigarettes and nicotine replacement therapy (NRT). Just because our site is called Kill the CAN doesn’t mean we won’t help smokers and vapers as well. After all… if you’re smoking cigarettes or using a vape pen you’re using nicotine. You’re more than welcome to join us.
Special shout out to VAPE users – we’re here for you. Vaping is becoming a national epidemic. If you feel like you can’t stop reach out – we’re here to help.
KillTheCan.org helps people who are quitting by providing support from men and women who know what you’re going through because we’ve all been through it. Adding this type of support group to your quit will GREATLY increase your chances of success. Our forums are located at ktcforum.org. Bicycleptic 1447 days quit. I quit here and was a regular here for three years. I am sure someone will be along to tell me how much I suck for leaving but you can go sexually gratify yourself. The longer I was quit the more I felt that the need to visit here every day and post roll was as much of an addiction as the dip. Once I left here it became easier to get rid of the smokey mountain crutch and let it all go. I had an automatic day counter on my phone but lost that app a few months ago when I got a new phone. I merely came here to use the calendar to see where I was on days quit. Thanks for that feature Chewie. I am quit today, will still be quit tomorrow, next week, next month and next year. I know some will doubt me but I don’t care. I was a raging alcoholic and quit drinking cold turkey while still hung over more then 25 years ago. I never attended a single AA meeting. God provides the support I need.
Good to see you still quit – congrats my man and Happy New Year!
