  1. 24 hours in…..I knew this was coming. Haven’t been feeling good. Nasty cough and chest congestion…….I think the sickness is perfect timing. Fog has settled in…..I WILL NOT DIP!

  3. Day 1 – Very excited. I have been chewing for 10 years – successfully quit for a little over a year. Then in July of 2014, I lost a friend tragically… and went into a little tailspin. I’ve got all the reasons in the world to quit; three young kids, incredible wife, peace with the loss, but the can seems to turn that into ‘blah blah blah’ and i hate that. it feel like such a piece of shit for blowing all those incredible reasons off just to pop a chew in.. . . I have never used a blog like this but i feel like i need the help.

  4. Day 2… No dip or smokes… already hell for me no clue what I’m going to do.. i just want to buy a can…headaches already

  5. Day 12. Using the lowest level nicotine patches and smokey mountain chew. It is going pretty well. Still trying different fake chews to find something with less sugar, or something with a more unique flavor I can latch onto. All the fake products are so darn sweet like Redman. I dipped Copenhagen Long Cut for the last 10 years, no spit just gut, so I’m accustomed to a strong, bitter flavor.

    • Hey man, this is a cold turkey site. You can’t count your days until you get rid of the patch or any other nicotine source. Right now you are prolonging the period of going nicotine free, so why not ditch the patch, pull up your pants, and start your quit? It sucks at first, but it gets so much better.

  8. 215, no matter how bad I think I want a dip I know 2 things, the feeling will pass quickly and quitting sucks so bad I don’t ever want to subject myself to that misery again.

  10. Day 325. Yesterday I stood in the shoppe for 30+seconds, just stood there, like I was going to put a rub in before I started back to work. The habit is EVIL. I MUST STAY QUIT!!!!! I quit with all of you today. For self family and friends. NIC FREE IN 15.
