KillTheCan.org is dedicated to helping people quit all forms of smokeless tobacco including dip, chew and SNUS. The drug NICOTINE is our enemy. Until you are free from the drug you are addicted to, you cannot be free from your addiction. If you are looking to quit dipping KillTheCan.org can help. We will never tell you quitting it easy because it isn’t. In fact, it may very well be the most difficult thing you ever do. Adding a support system to your quit can be the difference between success and failure. The best quit dipping support system available is the KillTheCan.org forum.
Roll call on the KTC forums is our DAILY promise that we will not use nicotine in any form for that day. This includes all forms of smokeless tobacco, dip, chew, SNUS, cigarettes, cigars, e-cigs and NRT (nicotine replacement therapy). We don’t worry about quitting forever. We quit today and deal with tomorrow when we get there.

Hey Jared – it’s not easy (as you know) but we subscribe to the cold turkey method. Don’t worry about “forever”. It’s too big. We quit one day at a time (hence these daily roll call posts). If you haven’t yet join our forum at http://forum.killthecan.org. We’ve got nearly 25,000 members who “get it” because we’ve been right where you are.
I had success with staying busy. Only deal in moments by moments. Anything else is very hard to manage. Never stop quiting. Best of luck.
I use dip to over come depression because of that buzz I get from it. After my dad died I dipped even more.

I’m sure we all have our moments when a time, place or event makes a dip seem nostalgic, alluring, enticing and just one won’t hurt. I got burned by that situation 5 times over the last 30 years. This will be the last time I quit. Stay vigilant and don’t get drawn back in. I hope everyone who reads this, regardless of what day of your quit you are on wins the most important day of their quit, which is always today. I have decided to win the day, I’ll worry about tomorrow when it arrives
