Roll Call For Thursday March 26th, 2015

KillTheCan Roll CallEven though we are called “KillTheCan” we realize that our true enemy is the drug itself: NICOTINE.  Nicotine is an incredibly addictive drug and because of that quitting dip may be the most difficult thing you ever do in your life. Adding a support system like the KillTheCan.org online forum to your quit can be the difference between success and failure. Our forums are the biggest and best quit dipping support system available today. And best of all, they’re FREE!

Roll call is the cornerstone of our activities at KillTheCan.org and is the reason for our continued growth and success. Roll call is quite simply your daily promise that you will not use nicotine in any form for that day. This includes all forms of smokeless tobacco, SNUS, cigarettes, cigars, e-cigarettes and nicotine replacement therapy. We quit one day at a time and worry about tomorrow when we get there together.

Please use this blog post to post your daily promise.

To post roll, simply leave a comment below with your forum screen name, days quit and your quit group.

  1. Great job everyone!!….some serious courage and strength going on in here!…decades long users going cold turkey?! WOW…..we’ve made up our minds and nothing will stop us – let’s pull this wagon together!!….no matter what day you’re on, no matter how long you used – when we stand together NIC doesn’t have a chance!

    Day 11

  2. Day 37, starting to feel it. Keeping strong though, never wanna go back!!!

  3. 26 years wasted on Copenhagen and now Day #3 completely without nicotine. Did it cold turkey. Did it spur of the moment. But so happy I have chosen this path. It is not easy. It is dang hard. Iv tried quiting before, but I was weak. I will make it. I am going to live for my family by my choice. Not Copenhagen.

  4. Although this is Day 5 for me, it is my first day to post. I just wanted to say thank you to all that post on this daily and spread positive and encouraging words. I’ve read these roll calls every day of my quit. Again, THANK YOU!

“To trust yourself to test your limits. That is the courage to succeed.”

  6. oh bs. all you chew freaks no you like a big sloppy nasty, juicy dip. Its better than sex at times. you know it, and any forum that tells you, you didnt really enjoy, its just your addiction, is crap. cause me and you know we love spittin and gaggin. However Im at 16 days, miss it like and old girlfriend but do need to move on. Thank God.

  7. Day 109 – I am quit, life is good. thanks for all the feedback on my son. I have not put the pressure on him to quit, but I do ask if he is ready to quit and if he can commit to a date. I told him the exact same thing, that he needs to quit now before another 10, 20, 30 years go by and he increases his chances for health issues. I hope and pray each day he will quit for 100 days and post HOF and I will gladly buy him a Skydiving adventure of a lifetime! I appreciate all of you on this site, and I support your quit!
