Quitting dip is difficult. In fact, it may be the most difficult thing you ever do in your life. Adding a support system to your quit can be the difference between success and failure. The best support system available today for someone looking to quit dipping is the KillTheCan.org online forum.
Roll call is the most important thing we do at KillTheCan.org and is the reason for our continued success. Roll call at KTC is simple. It is your daily promise that you will not use nicotine in any form for that day. This includes all forms of smokeless tobacco, SNUS, cigarettes, cigars, electronic cigarettes and nicotine replacement therapy. We don’t worry about the “forever”. We quit for today. We’ll worry about tomorrow when we get there. Please use this blog post to post your daily promise.
To post roll, simply leave a comment below with your forum screen name, days quit and your quit group.

Grizzly1990. Day 3.
Group: 198.
Nicotine withdrawals have set in. Getting rough. All in for the quit.
Day 84. In the process of moving have missed a few days. Still tobacco free, no caving for me.
Day 2.. Woke up in an awful mood today! Need to reign it in. Best of luck to everyone.
what blows my mind is that nic withdrawal affects sleep and can even prompt some depression cause the dopamine or whatever that is gets cut off from the lack of nicotine. yeah first 3 days suck. bad enough wanting to yell at people then throw in physical withdrawal too!! hang in there.
Day 46, We got this!
Day 77…I will not use.
Day 45, good job to everyone. Buy the fake shit, after the the NIC leaves your system it helps fight the cravings. So far, i like Jakes Mint Chew and Smokey Mountain wintergreen.
Day 7. Embracing the suck. Glad you guys are here.
Day 5…early visit to the gym, so far so good!
day 23, having stronger craves this week than last. weird.
Quitting is weird…no rhyme or reason. I find that one day is so easy and the next day is like being back at day one but without the fog!. Most days are easy but just be careful for those really strong cravings to come along. Keep up the great job.
1 day 13 hours 39 minutes
Day 49: keep rolling Trey. I chewed over a can of Kodiak for 20+ years. Never thought I would get to this day. The first 14 days suck and are miserable. Keep pushing along. If you want to quit, you’ll stay quit. Minute/hour at a time right now. Running helps me get through the days along with push ups when you’re having freak outs.
wow, yeah trey hang in there!! this is the worst. read the postings and such on this site and you’ll see others go thru the same (or worst lol). the crazy thing is the real physical stuff is only a couple days. but man alive it messes with your body. if you haven’t already, read the what to expect when you quit section of this website it helps explain some stuff.
Day 99: I quit with you all today!
Day 49, glad to be here on this journey. Congrats all,
I quit with you today.
John
Day 23 on my quit and I do stand with everyone in my new family
