Roll Call For Thursday February 19th, 2015

KillTheCan Roll CallQuitting dip is difficult. In fact, it may be the most difficult thing you ever do in your life. Adding a support system to your quit can be the difference between success and failure. The best support system available today for someone looking to quit dipping is the KillTheCan.org online forum.

Roll call is the most important thing we do at KillTheCan.org and is the reason for our continued success. Roll call at KTC is simple.  It is your daily promise that you will not use nicotine in any form for that day. This includes all forms of smokeless tobacco, SNUS, cigarettes, cigars, electronic cigarettes and nicotine replacement therapy. We don’t worry about the “forever”.  We quit for today.  We’ll worry about tomorrow when we get there.  Please use this blog post to post your daily promise.

To post roll, simply leave a comment below with your forum screen name, days quit and your quit group.

  1. Thank you guys! Love the site. Was a real heavy user (from the time i woke up until going to sleep).. Last night had some crazy night sweats. Bit of a headache. Right now I’m using this Oregon Mint snuff like it’s going out of business. Anyone else have any other products on top of the beef jerky or seeds, that could be helpful?

    • Check out the main site and search for nic free product reviews. I bought some Grinds which helped me in the first 45 days. They are just coffee pouches but the oral fixation for me helped.

  2. 71 hours 37 minutes.

  3. Day 46. First post on roll. – Bob (Bobalicious )

  4. Thank you Eric B

  5. Day 3, I’m miserable! Feel like crap. Going to be all worth it in the end. GL to everyone.

  6. Ken, are you going to do an HOF speech? Where do you even post it if you are?

  7. Day 75 – 3/4 of the way to the HOF! Like Ken said, just because we reach 100 days does not guarantee we are home free. We are all addicts to the nic bith and must constantly be on our guard to keep our bodies free. For me personally, even at 75 days later I have to reinforce my resolve to stay quit and shut that part of my brain off. Stay Strong Everyone!!

  8. Day 50, great job Ken.

  9. Day 46, Huge congrats to Ken. How do you feel ming?

    • It is great reaching the milestone! Now I just need to keep it going. To do this I have to remind myself that I’m an addict. I once threw away a 6 year nic free run. I have a lot of ground to make up. Thanks for the well wishes. Quit on!

  10. Day 47, We got this! Congrats Ken on reaching 100!

  11. day 2. I will not dip today

  13. Day 79. A big shout out to our quit brother KEN on the 100 day milestone. Stay warm everyone. For self family and friends. NIC FREE IN 15.

  14. Day 100: I quit with you today! Keep up the great work and keep supporting each other.

    • A HUGE Congratulations to you Ken on celebrating life after 100 days of being nicotine free!! We are all very proud to quit with you today!
