  1. Day 16. Had some major cravings at work today, probably due to stress + caffeine. Still learning what my new level of caffeine intake should be. Also realizing how SENSITIVE my body is to a change in blood sugar.

  2. Day 3 not sure how everything works here but I am working on it. Today was pretty challenging I think every cattle water was froze up

  3. Day 8. First good luck Eric B. Stay positive no matter the news. We’re all here to support our brothers and sisters. Never really thought I could actually quit, but I’m sure that I will succeed.

  4. Day 25. Going to call the dentist tomorrow to schedule an appointment next month. Good luck Eric B. Hope everything works out. I shared this website with two coworkers who chew and will share your story also. For motivation.

  5. Eric B, you must keep us updated and I for one will praying for you and all of us. 40 years of this evil monster. It’s a wonder I’m still kicking.

  6. Good luck Eric B…

  7. Day 33 – Going to see the oral surgeon in about an hour to see what the dark patch is all about on the roof of my mouth. I feel like any army paratrooper being marched off the back of a fat lady into enemy territory. Been praying a good bit and asking for his favor in this time of uncertainty. For any of you new quitters I hope this is yet one more message on this site that helps you win your battle with nicotine addiction. I will post more later when I get some results. Also keep James in your thoughts and prayers as he prepares for his oral surgeon consultation to inspect the spots in his mouth. As Chewie and the program stated, after 30 dayers need to go see their dentist and get checked. Early detection may save your life. Stay Strong Everyone!

    • Good luck I’ll pray for you.

    • Quick Update: Doc didn’t say a whole lot, but felt it was most likely not cancerous because it didn’t appear to be infected and irregular but that we can’t take chances and they have to cut a portion out of my hard pallet which will never feel the same. I guess that is helping me to continue to say positive until we have final answers. I have my biopsy scheduled for next Thursday.

      • That sounds like some somewhat positive news. Hope all goes well for you next week. Stay strong and keep fighting. Maybe this will remotivate your son and get him back on board with you.

      • Thoughts and prayers to you Eric B. Proud of you for staying strong even with the scary news!

  14. Day 58: thoughts are with you Eric B. With the wind, we hit -20 last night. Here’s hoping that the cars start. ;). Stay strong everyone.
