Roll Call For Thursday January 22nd, 2015

KillTheCan Roll CallRoll call is at the center of what we do at KillTheCan.org and is the reason for our continued success. Roll call is your daily promise that you will not use nicotine in any form for that day. This includes dip, chew, snuff, SNUS, cigarettes, cigars, e-cigs or NRT (nicotine replacement therapy). We don’t worry about the concept of “forever”.  We quit for today.  We’ll worry about tomorrow when we get there.  Please use this blog post to post your daily promise.

To post roll, simply leave a comment below with your forum screen name, days quit and your quit group.

  1. Day 48 still remain each time I crave STRONG

  2. Day 22 still strong

  3. Day 47 – Almost half way there to the HOF. Missed yesterday roll-call but managed 300 mile road trip from Nashville back to Atlanta and never once did I crave a dip. Nashville was awesome, had fun down on Music Row and took in some great line-ups and some not so great line-ups. Hope everyone is managing their quit well today and that nasty crave bitch leaves you alone and carefree about wanting to go back to her. Follow-up with Oral Surgeon today at 4pm to see how I’m healing (still sore!!) and also to see what it was that caused them to need to dig a chunk of my mouth. Have a great day all!

    • Quick update on my son, he is at day 8 and through the worst of it and seems to be well on his way. Asked him to join roll-call and confess before everyone that he will stay nicotine free each day until he is well on his way to be a lifetime quitter. Will bug him again today….

  4. Day 17, relieved to be quit. still cant sleep though. Any feedback would be great-thnx

    • Just hang in there Jim. It will get better. Try mixing up your routine. Go for a walk after dinner or shut off electronic devices early. You should see yourself get back to normal soon. If not I would go and see your doctor.

    • Hang in there Jim, a full nights rest will come, and then come every night. Give your body a chance to get used to not having nicotine. Sleep will come

  5. Day 22, glad to be quit.
