Roll Call For Saturday January 24th, 2015

Kill The Can Roll CallRoll call is at the center of what we do at KillTheCan.org and is the reason for our continued success. Roll call is your daily promise that you will not use nicotine in any form for that day. This includes dip, chew, snuff, SNUS, cigarettes, cigars, e-cigs or NRT (nicotine replacement therapy). We don’t worry about the concept of “forever”.  We quit for today.  We’ll worry about tomorrow when we get there.  Please use this blog post to post your daily promise.

To post roll, simply leave a comment below with your forum screen name, days quit and your quit group.

  1. Day 10- This morning is difficult because I have a headache and maybe slept in too much. Cravings are a b…. However, I will fight. I quit for my wife and daughters. I quit myself. NEVER GOING BACK!

  2. Day # 1…should be day #6, but I caved in yesterday and I want to be honest with myself. This is the hardest thing I have ever had to quit, but enough is enough!

    • Chris – get back on here and start posting daily. We’re here for you. It sucks, but you know you have to push through it! If it was f’n easy we wouldn’t be here.

  3. Day 24,doing this is the hardest thing I’ve quit. It’s getting easier. Do this for yourself is the only way it’s going to work! Stay strong people!

  4. Day 42 without nicotine, day 50 without chew. I’m still experiencing anxiety and sleepless nights. I took a day off to cope (no pun intended) and now I’m fine, but I’ll make sure never to slip. A friend of mine quit for a year and had one dip during a poker game. Seven years later, he was still chewing. Stay alert guys, and enjoy the gift of life!

  5. Day 24, glad to be quit today. Stay strong everyone!

  6. Day fifty, and proud to have made it this far. Day by Day is the way I choose to get this chewing tobacco habbit out of my life. No nicotine for me today.

  7. Day 59. Taking one day at a time. At times I have a false confidence about chew, the thinking that I can take just one pinch. Reality is if I take one pinch all this is wasted and would have to start back at step one. I again promise not to put tobacco or nicotine in my body again.

  8. Day 74: I quit with all of you today. Stay strong!

  9. Day 53. Every morning the urge is there but easier to beat. Beat this nasty habit for self family and friends. NIC FREE IN 15.
