Roll Call For Friday January 23rd, 2015

Kill The Can Roll CallRoll call is at the center of what we do at KillTheCan.org and is the reason for our continued success. Roll call is your daily promise that you will not use nicotine in any form for that day. This includes dip, chew, snuff, SNUS, cigarettes, cigars, e-cigs or NRT (nicotine replacement therapy). We don’t worry about the concept of “forever”.  We quit for today.  We’ll worry about tomorrow when we get there.  Please use this blog post to post your daily promise.

To post roll, simply leave a comment below with your forum screen name, days quit and your quit group.

  6. Day 48 – Slight urges this morning as normal, grabbed the gum and seeds to clear the demons out. Met with Surgeon yesterday and said I am healing well and gave me my biopsy report, turns out it was just a bruise. At least I know and now have piece of mind, not to mention another strong kick in the ass to stay quit for good. Son is doing well, and is now nic free for 9 days. We are winning the war here!! Wish I would see a few more names pop back up that came on in early January, I wish them all well in their pursuit to quit nicotine. Great job everyone!!

  7. Day 51. Have a great nicotine free weekend!

  8. Day 18, finally slept better last night. feeling fuckin great, consider this a done deal- no problem.

  9. Day 52. Will beat this monster. Urges still around but I will win. I want this for self family and friends. NIC FREE IN 15.

  10. Day 58. I have been following the calculator since the start. It makes me kind of sick to see how much money I spent on chew. Money isn’t my main motivating factor, but it is nice to have that money. Staying strong and staying quit.

    • I hear you loud and clear Erik!! Living in NY compounded my savings (plus I’ve cut down on all of the other crap I would buy while in a convenience store).

  11. Day 73: I quit with you today! Stay strong everyone.
