@Chewie - thanks for the quick reply, I haven't heard of Grinds or Nip yet, I'll check them out, Jake's though is just the pure mint leaves right? I've tried the pure mint leaves and they are okay but I'll definitely have to try one of those. Now do you know if anyone either makes an actual long cut though or even possibly like a loose leaf?
Thanks again

@AndrewK - thanks for stopping by! Hooch, Grinds, and Nip all have outstanding "spitability". Certain flavors (Spearmint) of Jake's, and Holt also have a good amount of saliva. Reviews for all of these are posted here: http://blog.killthecan.org/reviews/

I started Bacc-Off a week ago and enjoy the burn in the pouches, the only thing that I'm disappointed about is what really got me dipping in the first place was the spitting. I've yet to find one that really makes me salivate. I'm also hoping to someday find a long cut one as I can't stand fine cut as it creates a mess to clean up. I tried Smokey Mountain years ago and that was only in fine at the time. Anyone who has tried Hooch, does this one make you salivate or if any other brands I haven't mentioned that have more of a long cut and makes you salivate please let me know.

Thank you

I quit ciggs and dip 6 days ago cold turkey. Recently stopped drug and alcohol use so I figured might as well get rid of my nicotine addiction as well.(which had gotten out of control with the stopping of alcohol and drugs) I have not had problems yet but am constantly running my tongue along my gum line and missing my dips. I just ordered Holt and look forward to packing some fatties again, but without nicotine and ruining my gums.

@Jeremy - Thanks for stopping by. Will shoot you an email as well, but if you haven't yet I'd strongly urge you to join our forums at http://forum.killthecan.org. There are over 10,000 members who know what you're dealing with. It's the best place on the web (IMHO) to get answers and talk with folks who truly understand.

Good info Chewie. I was, and still am, the same way when it comes to any pain or sore in my mouth. 30 days after I quit I started getting canker sores and was freaking out, but they went away. In addition to that my jaw, gums & neck were hurting close to 80 days after I quit. I was convinced I had oral cancer and went to see my dentist and doctor. They checked me out and said there was no visible damage or problems. That really set my mind at ease, but any time I feel a pain in my mouth I get a little worried. Don't sweat the canker sores everyone, but know what the early signs of cancer look like, just in case. Better safe than sorry. Get checked out.

@Alyssa - Thanks for stopping by and thanks for caring for your friend. Check out this page: http://www.killthecan.org/community/spouse.asp While it's written with a "spouse" in mind, it's certainly relevant to your situation. Send him to our forums... if he's ready, we'll get him quit! http://forum.killthecan.org/
