Roll Call For Wednesday May 11th, 2016

KillTheCan Green LogoWelcome to your freedom from tobacco! KillTheCan.org is dedicated to helping people quit smokeless and spit tobacco in all forms including dip, chew, SNUS and snuff. If you want to quit chewing or dipping we believe we can help. Quitting dip isn’t easy and we won’t suggest otherwise. In fact, it may be the most difficult thing you ever do. Adding a support system to your quit will greatly increase your chances of success. The best quit dipping support system available today is on our forums.

Roll call is our DAILY promise that we will not use nicotine in any form for that day. This includes all forms of smokeless tobacco, dip, chew, SNUS, cigarettes, cigars, e-cigarettes and nicotine replacement therapy (NRT).

Use this blog post to post your daily promise. Leave a comment below with your forum screen name, your days quit and your quit group.

  3. Day 3. No nic today. Feeling pretty good. Not feeling like shit in the AM from having one when I went to bed. Still feeling the crave but ignoring it.

  4. Day 176. I quit with all of you today.

  5. We are free each day to make our own decisions. Make good choices in life and don’t be selfish. Today I will remain quit at 71 days with all of you

  6. Day 31…..No NIC for me today. Stay strong my friends

    • Chaseman, answer to your question from yesterday: I started dipping again because I didn’t give a shit and I folded to a little stress – I forgot the reasons for quitting. I’ve got a strong fatalistic streak. Having a few beers helped push me over.

I’m getting remarried a month from today. I’m a selfish bastard if I go back to dipping, but the urge is strong. I’m exercising a lot more to keep my mind off of it.

  7. Day 547: Keep at it and know you can’t have one.

  8. Day 527. Good luck to Keller, I tried and fail a few times, then quit trying because I hated to fail. This site is the reason I’m snuff free for 527. Hold it close to you. I quit with all of you today. For self family and friends. NIC FREE IN 16.
