Roll call is the most important thing we do at KillTheCan.org and is the reason for our continued success. Roll call at KTC is simple. It is your daily promise that you will not use nicotine in any form for that day. This includes all forms of smokeless tobacco, SNUS, cigarettes, cigars, electronic cigarettes and nicotine replacement therapy. We don’t worry about the “forever”. We quit for today. We’ll worry about tomorrow when we get there. Please use this blog post to post your daily promise.

Day 59. Man Disney is an effin zoo!! If I can get through that without caving I Am good to go. One more day then heading back to the snow of Michigan. Almost looking forward to getting back to normal.
I’ll be trying Disney dip-free next month….looking forward to it! Have fun!
The snow keeps piling up here in Holland James enjoy Disney and stay strong
Day 36 another one in the books
Day 61 – cravings are gone for the most part and I have moved into a new phase of my quit. I know my health concerns are okay for now and I don’t have that plaguing me anymore, but I have this void in my life where the “can” use to be. I know I will not go back, and I don’t want to go back, but there is a slight depression in my mind. It’s like a bad ex-girlfriend that you know you should never call again, yet in some warped way your mind can’t let the old memories fade. I already have my eye on either the gold coin or the knife to keep in my pocket and remind me of my 100 days of quitting with all my brothers and sister CYNTHIA wherever she went. I will get there, and I look beyond the 100 days, but today I am keeping busy and trying to forget the love I had for something that will kill me. Stay Strong Everyone!!
I like your strong quit!! Don’t romanticize the nicotine. Remember the suck you had to deal with during first few days. Once you have been away from it long enough you just remember the good and not the bad. I’m trying to just hate the stuff. It took time away from me and my family. It had me spending a lot of money so I can increase my likelihood of an early death. F nicotine!
Thanks for keeping it real Ken!! Agree, Nicotine wants nothing but my time, money and my life, I’m done!!
Day 32, we got this!
Day 64…Stay strong.
Day 36
Day 32, feelin great. sleeping better. Starting to revive taste buds. Does anyone know if the fake dips impedes progress of taste buds
coming back?
Jim, I imagine it might to some degree depending on how long you hold it in your mouth. I honestly don’t know.
I’m not sure, but if it helps your quit I wouldn’t worry about too much. The real crap was eating a hole in your face so the fake has to be better.
Day 86: Stay strong.
Awesome job Ken!! You’ve got this!!
Day 71, Pretty lucky to have a great support system at home. Need to thank my wife and kids not only for there help, but also the motivation they give me. I couldn’t have done this without them. No dip for me today.
Keep kicking it Erik!
Day 65. Thanks all. I stay quit with you today. For self family and friends. NIC FREE IN 15.
It’s an awesome feeling to talk about you quit freely with you family. It’s very liberating!! Great Job Erik, can’t wait to celebrate your 100 days in another month. Keep it Going!!
Hey Eric, family, family, family. They are our reason. Now I just get pissed I put my girls through my tobacco shit. But I was young and invincible.
Day 11 for me keep up the great work !!!!!!!!!!!
