Roll Call For Sunday February 15th, 2015

Kill The Can Roll CallRoll call is the most important thing we do at KillTheCan.org and is the reason for our continued success. Roll call at KTC is simple.  It is your daily promise that you will not use nicotine in any form for that day. This includes all forms of smokeless tobacco, SNUS, cigarettes, cigars, electronic cigarettes and nicotine replacement therapy. We don’t worry about the “forever”.  We quit for today.  We’ll worry about tomorrow when we get there.  Please use this blog post to post your daily promise.

To post roll, simply leave a comment below with your forum screen name, days quit and your quit group.

  1. Day 46….watching my friend Brandt Snedeker win the ATT….nice job!

  2. Day 81. Had flue yesterday bad stuff. Found empty can today didn’t have an urge at all. Actually laughed at it when wife looked at me. I can honestly say I think I have this addiction beat.

  3. Day 69. More than two thirds of the way to the HOF. Ken you just about there buddy!

  4. I am so eager to quit sitting here reading this about to go to church with a dip in. I am 45 and have dipped since 14 or 15. Where do I begin?

    • Hey Chet – I’d start with registering for our forums where we’ve got nearly 23,000 members. It’s the best place available to get support from folks who know what you’re going through. http://forum.killthecan.org/register/

    • Begin by stopping. Then just don’t do it again. Simple really, and the hardest thing I’ve ever done. I’m 48 and started at 13. I’m on day 46. Wanted to cave yesterday, but I didn’t and today I’m glad I didn’t. You can’t stop unless you want to. Pick a date and stick with it, or just put it down right now and never pick it up again. It SUCKS for the first for the first rest of your life or so, but the rest of your life will be a bit longer.

  5. Day 46, your doing great John. Some moments are still tough; but it does get easier. Today I will be free of nicotine.

  8. It’s 0 outside as I get ready for work and there’s zero chance I’ll use tobacco today. For self family and friends. NIC FREE IN 15.
