Roll Call For Monday February 23rd, 2015

Kill The Can Roll CallQuitting dip is difficult. In fact, it may be the most difficult thing you ever do in your life. Adding a support system to your quit can be the difference between success and failure. The best support system available today for someone looking to quit dipping is the KillTheCan.org online forum.

Roll call is the most important thing we do at KillTheCan.org and is the reason for our continued success. Roll call at KTC is simple.  It is your daily promise that you will not use nicotine in any form for that day. This includes all forms of smokeless tobacco, SNUS, cigarettes, cigars, electronic cigarettes and nicotine replacement therapy. We don’t worry about the “forever”.  We quit for today.  We’ll worry about tomorrow when we get there.  Please use this blog post to post your daily promise.

To post roll, simply leave a comment below with your forum screen name, days quit and your quit group.

  4. Day 79 – Proud to quit with this group of outstanding individuals with a resolve to stay quit for life! Stay Strong Everyone!! Tracking my quit on “My Quit Tracker” app and today I have saved $118. Think I will treat myself to something nice on day 100. I hope you did too Ken!!

My son is still dipping like a fiend and it’s quite tempting at times to walk in his room and snag a little pinch but I don’t let myself go there. I feel very guilty that he looked up to his dad and started the nasty habit and here I am quit and trying desperately to get him to quit. I even told him that if he quit for 100 days, I would take him somewhere really awesome or go sky diving. For now, I will continue to pray for him and that he will draw a line in the sand and say no more to tobacco after this date.

    • Living in NY my 100 saved me $600 (tin per day). Make your son proud that his dad can stick to it. Your quit makes mine stronger! Thank you for helping me.

      • WOW! $6 a can, I was buying Cope Southern Blend a $2.80/can. God’s pinch was almost a quarter of the can when you opened it up. So glad I am done with that mess. Keep up the awesome work Ken!

  5. Day 82. I will not lose this battle.

  6. Day 54, glad to be nic free today.
