  1. Day 13 today. Some cravings but for the most part wasn’t too bad. Work kept me pretty busy. Less foggy today!

  2. 5th day of new life. I’m still winning!

  3. Day 5 – Still here.

  4. three weeks free, trying to get my son to quit the cowboy killers, lil woman told him he stunk like crap after smoking one. almost broke, had that terrible craving, could feel the grains of the cope burn…… stayed strong, made it through another one.

  5. Day 1 Hope I can stay strong.

  6. Day 30 – First full day back to work for me as well. Good to be busy again, but feel better prepared to handle the temptations and spit in a can. I have a follow up with the dentist today to use the VELscope and recheck a questionable spot on the roof of my mouth, kind nervous thinking about it, so could use any prayer supporters out there. I will post update later today. Stay quit everyone!

    • Just a quick update, the spot is still there and I am being referred to a an Oral Surgeon. My next appt is this Thursday. Dentist said it could be any number of things, but best to have it checked out to make sure it’s not cancerous. I am freaking out a bit right now, anyone else gone through this before? I sure could use some consultation.

      • I have an appointment with an oral doctor/surgeon in a couple weeks to check a couple spots. Most likely your dentist will refer you to one if they suspect anything. Of course procedures where your from may operate differently then where I’m from.

        • Sorry Eric. I didn’t see your last post. I read your post earlier today and responded when I had time but before reading newer post. Surprised you were able to see surgeon that soon. Mine is a couple weeks away and been booked for a couple weeks.

          • No worries James, I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. I know this is weighing heavy on each of us and I know we are both going to be okay. Please keep us all updated and I will do the same. If the fear of this doesn’t keep us both quit, I don’t know what will. Stay Strong!

        • My thoughts, my prayers, are with you my quit brother. Although we don’t know each other, we do! Keep us informed.

      • Eric congrats on 30, big milestone. Thoughts and prayers go out to both you and James. Hope all goes well for both of you.

  7. Day-39 gonna be a no craving kinda day

  8. Day 33. Went out Saturday night with some friends to watch the football games. Two of them are dippers and I thought it would be really bad to hang out with them. It wasn’t bad at all. Glad I went through that experience. Do not fear challenges…embrace them.

  9. Day 34. Push on. Morning urges not as bad, but still there. For self family and friends. NIC FREE IN 15

  10. Day 55: Between the holidays and illnesses, I haven’t had a full week of work in about a month. This week is going to be rough, but I’m committed to stay nic free!

  11. Day 40. Going back to work after long break no fears or worries this time like at Thanksgiving. Each day does get easier. Glad I finally made this decision, and very thankful I found this sight. Truly surprised at how helpful it is. Refuse to lose.

    • Congrats Erik. I’m heading back to work today also, taking
Lots of gum and mints. Things seem to be getting better.
